A lifelong athlete and physical fitness enthusiast, Jill came to Yoga On Chocolate in March 2013 in search of more muscle definition and tone.
Despite countless hours put in at gyms, Jill’s research led her to barre method workouts and yoga. She found both at Yoga On Chocolate.
With a steady 3-5 day barre practice, what she found changed her body and her life forever. Two years ago, in order to work through stress in her work life, Jill tried a yoga class. She was quickly bitten by the yoga bug and slowly began developing a regular practice. She found a strong affinity for the fast paced and athletic vinyasa style taught at Yoga On Chocolate.
In March 2016, Jill completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Yoga On Chocolate (Registered Yoga School, YOCTT) and is pleased to be a vinyasa substitute teacher at the studio. Jill is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance, barre certified through the Barre Above Program, and is also CPR and First Aid Certified through the American Red Cross.
A lifelong student, Jill plans to continue expanding her yoga knowledge and education with the Baptiste Art of Assisting workshop in August 2016. Jill attended Dickinson College and the Penn State Smeal School of Business and by day works in Medical Device Sales.
