The mission of the Yoga Across America (YAA) Project is to introduce the eight-limbed path that forms the structural framework for yoga practice to individuals and families across the U.S., who either live in communities that do not have access to a variety of yoga programs or in communities where the default lifestyle offers numerous distractions from the benefits of the practice, and to provide the highest quality and widest variety of yoga instruction while considering the limited resources of its patrons.
The YAA Project aims to expose people to this therapeutic practice with a series of 1-day workshops and 3-5 day yoga residential and commuter intensive retreat programs (camps) in strategic locations across multiple states. These workshops and intensive camps are designed to expose participants to the eight limbs of yoga through exhibitions, group instruction, and personal coaching. Workshops and camps are facilitated by yoga personnel trained by various yoga schools with the overall objectives of educating the public about the origins, the basic elements, advanced methods, and benefits of yoga practice.

Hot Caramel Stretch
Also known as Yin Yoga this class is a meditative practice of long-held postures, designed to compliment the more Yang or Vinyasa style practice. We hold each posture for 3 - 5 minute intervals and relax the muscles. This assists the body in becoming more flexible and energizing the organ meridians.
Suitable for almost all levels of students, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.
