Cindy Frain

Cindy began practicing Yoga in 2009 with the encouragement of her daughter who inspired Cindy to take the first step and begin a personal yoga journey.

Yoga has helped Cindy regain the strength, balance, agility and endurance that had slowly waned over the years. She was able to expand her yoga experience at Yoga on Chocolate and complete the Yoga On Chocolate 200-hour Teacher Training Program (Registered Yoga School, YOCTT) and is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) through Yoga Alliance.

The benefits of yoga can be realized at any age. Cindy enjoys sharing her enthusiasm and passion for yoga with others helping them to grow and expand their personal yoga practice. Cindy feels strongly that yoga is for everyone!

Yoga has become Cindy’s guidebook into self-realization, healthy diet and lifestyle choices, constructive work and nurturing relationships. Cindy’s journey into yoga has included workshops and trainings in different traditions and methods which she can share with her students.

Cindy is a graduate of Shippensburg University with a degree in Elementary Education. She chose to be an at-home MOM raising 3 children and when the youngest reached school age, began substitute teaching for a number of years. Cindy went on to work in Human Resources for 20 years at a local retailer before retiring in 2016.

Cindy enjoys music, reading, crafts, swimming, skiing and spending time with her family.
